And, no doubt, the Palau Dalmases is one of the most important examples. This beautiful palace with baroque influences testifies to the artistic, political and cultural life of Catalonia. Between its walls, and thanks to the remarkable personality of Pau Ignasi Dalmases, from 1700 the Academy of the Suspicious ones, later the Academy of the Good Letters met.
